Critic Consensus: Will & Grace reunites its ever-hilarious cast for a revival season that picks up right where the show left off 11 years ago -- adding a fresh relevance and a series of stories that make sharply funny use of the passage of time.

My main problem with this reincarnation, as with the original show, is that the zippy one-liners are clever without being really funny.
Without wishing to get all soppy, it was like having old friends back in your living room after yonks.
In fact, the show is better than it was in its final seasons of its first iteration, when it was guest-star heavy, the jokes were tired, and it seemed that Jack and Karen took over the show.
Is it breakthrough television? No, but I laughed a few times and enjoyed myself, two thresholds most fall shows failed to meet.
