Mrs. Maisel is a show about a ordinary fifties housewife who decides to become a comedienne. On the surface, the main character seems very " white bread," but if you dig a little deeper, you will find that she has a keen sense of her own inexperience and a penchant for pushing the envelope. She is also managed by a character who will likely turn out to be a " friend of Dorothy." The characters are well-developed, and while not every episode is a firecracker, enough happens in each one to keep the audience engaged. Recommended.
