The result is a twisting, turning mystery that leaves you asking, "Where is my mind?"
This is tensely plotted, tensely directed and hypnotically compelling.

From the very first frame, Mr. Robot introduced itself as something unique and totally involving.

The show is fast-paced, visceral, original and, as reports go, extremely authentic.

It's an engaging watch - tense and fast-paced. Definitely one to check out.

Mr. Robot isn't perfect, but it's far from the dismissible piece of dullness that I initially thought I saw.

Audience Reviews for Mr. Robot: Season 1
Mr. Robot is not your ordinary summer thriller, thanks to it's intriguing premise, a profoundly complexive and morally questionable lead - with a breath-taking performance by Rami Malek - cohersive storytelling, merciless criticism upon modern society, and just the right amount of paranoia, inevitably becoming one of television's must-see content.

Daring and provocative, Mr. Robot is a stylistic techno thriller from USA. Season 1 follows a computer engineer named Elliot Alderson who's approached by a group of vigilante hackers called "fsociety" to help them bring down the banking conglomerate Evil Corp. in order to wipeout the public debt. However, Elliot is a psychologically disturbed young man who struggles to connect with other people and discern between fantasy and reality; which places fsociety's project in jeopardy. Narrated by Elliot, the show breaks the third wall in a rather interesting way; having him talk to the audience is if they're a voice in his head. Also, the series features a fairly strong cast , which includes Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin and Christian Slater; who all give extraordinary performances. Additionally, the directing is very Kurbrickian; setting an atmospheric tone that's sinister and foreboding. The writing is quite impressive as well; telling a complex story with a lot of subplot (though they don't always work out). Full of intrigue, Season 1 of Mr. Robot is incredibly intense and extremely engaging.

I?m still in total awe of Mr. Robot. As the first season of a series, it is so intelligently and expertly organized, made even more brilliant by its surrealist approach to reality and whether what you?re seeing is actually real. The unreliable narrator meets a brilliant group of hackers that seem to be an ode to Anonymous, the real Internet hacktivists. In Mr. Robot, the stakes are high: corporate debt elimination is a real threat, and this group of individuals could take down the entire economy with the press of a reset button, wiping away all loans and debt. Whether this is terrorism, anarchy, or bravery is for you to decide, all while deciphering its intoxicating, paranoid, mind-bending events. I can still truthfully say I haven?t recovered cognitively or emotionally from the finale.
