Broadchurch, one of the best British imports in recent memory, ends its three-season run ... in both bittersweet and (slightly) disappointing fashion.
Broadchurch, a character-driven mystery set in a small coastal English town, had an excellent first season, a so-so second season, but is back to "very good" in this, its last season.
Tennant and Colman are great as always. Despite their relationship still remaining prickly, three years on you get the sense that there is much underlying affection and mutual respect between the two of them.
Broadchurch ticks all the Brit drama boxes and still manages to stand out from the mysteries some of us can't get enough of.
After a disappointing second season, Broadchurch is back at its brilliant best.
